nEW WMC/Health-Alliance Hospital Opens Dec. 14, 2022!

Dear Neighbor:
We have exciting news for our neighbors!

Your new HealthAlliance Hospital on Mary’s Avenue
in Kingston will open on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.

This letter has important information on how we will move services, patients, and equipment from our current Broadway campus to the new

HealthAlliance Hospital at 105 Mary’s Avenue.

This move has been carefully planned, placing a priority on the safety of our patients, while also minimizing disruption to our neighbors. Our hospital move hotline will be open 24 hours a day from Monday, December 12 through Sunday, December 18. Please call 845.450.5025 with any questions or concerns.

The Move: Transition Plan for Patients and Equipment
The transition of patients and equipment from the HealthAlliance Broadway campus to the new HealthAlliance Hospital on Mary’s Avenue will begin on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 6:00 am. At that time, the Emergency Department at the new hospital will be open.

Multiple ambulances will transport patients  between these locations throughout the day, and trucks will move equipment. This will create a temporary increase in traffic activity on the following streets: Broadway, East O’Reilly Street, West O’Reilly Street, Mary’s Avenue, Andrew Street, Foxhall Avenue, Hasbrouck Avenue,

Jansen Avenue, and Pine Grove Avenue.

We anticipate completing the move by midnight on
December 14, 2022.

We thank you in advance for your patience during the relocation.

HealthAlliance Hospital’s
New and Expanded Services

As your community hospital and regional health network, WMCHealth and HealthAlliance continue to invest in Kingston and Ulster County by enhancing
facilities and improving local access to high-quality medical treatment, advanced technology, and talented specialists.

The $113 million HealthAlliance Hospital expansion and enhancement will deliver a technologically advanced and welcoming environment
for patients. It will feature:

• A new Emergency Department with a behavioral
health triage area
• A new Family Birth Center with private rooms for
birthing mothers
• Advanced cardiac care in our new Cardiac
Catheterization Laboratory
• New advanced critical care capabilities
• Refreshed private rooms and a new Caregiver Center
• New advanced imaging supported by WMCHealth’s
partnership with Philips
• Inpatient psychiatry services (coming in 2023)

We can’t wait to open this new hospital that will completely transform patient care here in Kingston and across the region. Please contact us if you have any questions.

We thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,
Your Friends and Neighbors at HealthAlliance Hospital and

uc hUMAN sERVICES: Trunk or Treat October 12, 2022!!

Save the Date for our upcoming Human Services Expo “ Trunk or Treat” taking place October 12th, 2022. The Human Services Expo was an  annual event that both  local service providers, area agencies and the  public looked forward to attending and networking. It’s a great  opportunity for outreach for the agency and  service  provider staff who serve your population to learn about area resources  as well as the public. Please forward to the agencies and service  providers who serve your population as we are accepting those who wish  to table at the event. I will be sending out more  detailed set up information soon and flyers for the public promotion.
